SERVPRO of Bend was called to this house in Bend, Oregon after the owner found bubbles in their kitchen vinyl floor.
The owner had returned from a weeks vacation to find that the kitchen floor and cabinets were showing signs of water damage. SERVPRO of Bend's water team began assessing the damage. Using infrared technology and moisture meters, SERVPRO of Bend's water team were able to find that a water line beneath the sink had burst, causing gallons of water to leak into the kitchen and crawlspace of the home.
SERVPRO of Bend got approval from the insurance carrier to remove the cabinetry and flooring of the kitchen. Once the affected materials were removed, it was apparent that the pipes had sustained a significant leak.
SERVPRO of Bend's technician's were able to safely remove the damaged materials and dry the affected area.
