Cleaning Dryer Vents

SERVPRO of Bend Water Technicians were working on a water loss in Madras, Oregon. The water loss had affected the complete laundry room, including the vinyl floor and subfloor. It was required that the flooring material be removed to accommodate the drying of the affected area. While moving the customers dryer, they noticed the accumulation of lint in the vent and ducting.

Even though it was not required and not part of the insurance loss, SERVPRO of Bend cleaned the dryer intake and the dryer vent tube to prevent any secondary damage.

The homeowner was very pleased that we brought it to her attention. SERVPRO of Bend recommended that she check the area at least quarterly to make sure that there isn't further build up of lint.
