Creative Ways to Dry

The Technicians at SERVPRO of Bend are very proud of some of the creative ways they come up with to make drying chambers.

This house in Redmond, Oregon had damage to a hardwood floor on the second floor due to an ice dam during the storm of 2017. The water also seeped to the first floor and damaged the drywall below, on the first floor.

Instead of having to tear out the hardwood floor, the technicians at SERVPRO of Bend decided to create a drying chamber below the hardwood. This enable them to dry from below, instead of above.

The drying chamber worked and they homeowners were excited that they didn't have to remove their hardwood floor.
