IICRC Certified Training for Mold

SERVPRO of Bend takes pride in having a certified technician on every job. In early 2017, a few technicians from SERVPRO of Bend attended an IICRC  class for Applied Microbial Remediation Technician.

The class was a great opportunity for our technicians to further their knowledge of how to identify and mitigate microbial growth and damage to a structure.

Part of the training was to build negative air chambers, which allows air to flow into the isolation room but not escape from the room.

In addition to the hands on labs, there were a lot classroom learning in regards to safety and health hazards that may result from microbial growth. We are excited that both technicians passed this class with high marks.
